Tom E. Harlow, 75, of Gardner, Kan. passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015.
Tom was born November 11, 1939 in rural Gardner, Kan to Charles and Katherine (Lietzen) Harlow.
He graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1958 and was a life-long Gardner resident.  Tom married Betty Enyart May 23, 1959 in Ottawa, Kan.  Tom was a master tile setter for 57 years and still enjoyed working.  He never said an unkind word about anyone.  Tom enjoyed traveling and dancing but most of all he loved spending time with his family.  He will be missed by all.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Katherine and step-mother, Clara and sisters, Anona White and Lou Austin.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty;  daughter, Kelly and Ralph Bigham of Wheatland, Mo; sons, Kent and Diana Harlow and Kirk and Lori Harlow both of Gardner, Kan; nine grandchildren; brother, Frank Harlow of Mound City, KS and sisters, Grace Deets of Louisville, KY, JoAnn Olson of Paola, Kan and Mary Brandt of Spring Hill, Kan and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, Kan 913-856-7111.  Burial will follow at Gardner Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 1, 2015 also at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation KC Chapter (JDRF) or American Heart Association.  Condolences may be left at .
