Five Gardner Edgerton High School lady Blazers returned home from the Kansas State Track and Field Championship with medals. The 6A track meet was held in Wichita last weekend.
Karli Smith paced the lady Blazer squad with a third place medal in the pole vault. Heather Culbertson took fourth place.
Abby Buie medaled with a sixth place finish in the javelin.
Two Blazers received eighth place medals. Abbie Lane set a personal best record on her way to an eighth place finish in the 300 meter hurdles. Cassidy Androff took eighth in the shot put.

Tenove, and Larissa Weidler, fell just short of the podium.
Meanwhile, Taylor Carpenter took 10th place in the 100 meters, and Faith Jolly placed eleventh in the triple jump.
