Despite several second half scoring opportunities the Spring Hill High School lady Bronco soccer team could not overcome the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves last week. The Timberwolves posted a 7-0 shut out.
Southwest, one of the top teams in Kansas, held a 3-0 lead at halftime and salted away the win with four second half goals.
Spring Hill had some second half scoring chances, but Blue Valley Southwest’s goalie Mallory Fahler was up to the task.
With the loss, Spring Hill dropped to 7-3. Southwest is now 9-1 on the season.
