In Loving Memory

Born to Randolph and Mattie Hinson in Greenville, Alabama on November 18, 1930, Ely Hinson was the 10th of 11 children.
Ely was raised in Greenville, Alabama and moved to Olathe, Kansas where he worked as a heavy machine operator for a number of years. He also lived several years in Gardner, Kansas. He will be remembered most for his life after he walked away from being a machine operator, selling fruits and vegetables around the KC metro area.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Randolph and Mattie; son, Randolph; his brothers, Evans, James, Silas and Randolph; his sisters, Ella, Lorraine, Genette, Clara, and Francis; and former wife, Georgia.
Left to cherish his memory, sister Elizabeth “Lib” Bland, daughter Brenda, three sons, Stephen (Sheila), Keith (Kyla), and Anthony Duncan (Terri); seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Johnathan, Jason, Elycia, Constance, Keith Alan, Jr., and Kyle.Great grandson Elias Montoya, Sister-in-law Mildred Hinson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and countless loving friends.
