Scoring 58 points, the Gardner Edgerton High School Blazer boys varsity track team brought back a sixth place finish from the Baker Relays last week.
A gold medal went to the 1600 relay of Jamin Anderson, Tim Visos-Ely, Tanner Hughes and Dante Fox in a time of 3:35.67 minutes.
“It was a great team effort,” said GEHS Coach Brian McGee. “The relay team held on to first place in dramatic fashion.”
A silver medal went to Kyle Stubler with a pole vault clearance of 13-feet 6-inches. Third place efforts came from Conner McGuire in the pole vault with an elevation of 13 feet, Andrew Sprague in the discus with a toss of 142-feet 4-inches and the 800 meter relay team.
