Gardner Edgerton High School life skills students attended Johnson County Community College’s annual Job Olympics on April 1. This year’s event marked the 17th annual Job Olympics.
GEHS students were pitted against special needs students from more than 30 Kansas City area schools. They competed in several events, including phone etiquette, folding towels, and counting money, designed to showcase the students’ employment skills. GEHS students from the Teens Offering Peer Support program also attended the Job Olympics to assist.
