Thomas James Graves, 67, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Gardner, passed away March 3, 2015 at his home.
Thomas was born January 1, 1948 in Long Beach, Calif to Thomas Junior and Olive Jane (Rinehart) Graves.
His family moved to Gardner in the 1950’s, he then graduated from Gardner High School in 1966.  Thomas married Deborah S. Wheeler July 15, 1977 in Mission, Kan.  He worked for Allied Molding in Gardner.  They moved to Wichita in 1992, where he worked for Norland Plastics in Haysville, Kan.  He retired from Brinks Security as a driver in 2012.  Thomas served in the U S Naval Reserves, and was stationed in Memphis, Tenn.  Thomas enjoyed watching sports, especially KU and Wichita Shockers basketball.  He was a hard worker and dedicated husband and dad.  He will be missed by family and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard “Dick” Graves and Harold Graves.  He is survived by his wife of the home; children, Heather Lynn and husband Michael Kelley of Olathe, Kan, Thomas Issac and wife Mandy Graves of Lenexa, Kan, Sarah Jane and husband Marcus Herrera of Topeka, Kan, Timothy James Graves and wife Brittany Ruckle of Wichita,  Olivia Louise Graves of Springfield, Mo and Andrew Lee Graves of Wichita, sister, Linda Weeks of Drexel, Mo and 11 grandchildren.
