Henry F. Clouse, 89, of Marshall, Mo., died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born February 9, 1925, in Knob Noster, Mo, Henry was the son of the late William Henry Clouse and Julia Veronica Lehane Clouse. He lived in Saline County and was a retired farmer. On October 30, he married Alberta Kliethermes who preceded him in death on February 4, 1981.  On October 23, 1983, in Marshall, he married Lillian Margaret Steed Gilpin who preceded him in death on August 27, 2008. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 876 in Marshall. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Ann Ohmes and husband, Gerald, of Gardner, Kan. and Rose Mary Tennill of Marshall; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Chuck Gilpin and Jr. Gilpin; one stepdaughter, Jeanie Beck; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Julia Marie Mansfield of Pahrump, Nev.
Henry was also preceded in death by one son, Eugene (Gene) Clouse; and two brothers, Bill Clouse and Maurice Murphy.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Kevin Gormley officiating. Prayer service was held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with visitation following from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Burial with military rites will be Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall.
