Layne Gilliland and Anna King, both of Spring Hill, are named to the fall 2014 Bethany College Dean’s list.
The pair joins more than 180 other students in the honor. To qualify, students must be enrolled full-time and earn a semester grade point average of at least 3.5.
Bethany College, established by Swedish Lutheran immigrants in 1881, is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Kansas State University
Erin Hultgren, Amanda Sheaffer, and Kyle Wait, all of Gardner, were among nearly 1,500 students who completed degree requirements from Kansas State University last semester.
Hultgren completed a bachelor of science in family studies and human services. Sheaffer and Wait also completed bachelor of science degree programs.
K-State’s 2014 fall graduates hail from 86 Kansas counties, 45 states and 27 countries.
Degrees earned include more than 1,125 bachelor’s, more than 320 master’s, more than 50 doctorates and eight associate degrees. Some students earned multiple degrees.
Fort Hays State Unversity
Bailey Nell Pfeifer, Gardner, and Sarah Alexis Ackerman, Spring Hill, have been named to the Fort Hays State Unversity Dean’s Honor Roll for the fall 2014 semester.
Pfeifer, a 2011 Gardner Edgerton High School graduate, is a junior majoring in social work. Ackerman is a senior majoring in elementary education.
In order to be eligible for the honor, the students earned at least a 3.6 grade point average while enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.
Thomas Spaedy of Spring Hill has been named to the Rockhurst University fall 2015 semester dean’s list. The recognizes students who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or above.
