Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the theft of sewer pipe. The pipe, owned by BRB Contractors, was stolen from a construction site on Hedge Lane Terrace. The pipes are to be laid across the area.
Sometime between 10:27 p.m. and 10:34 p.m. on Nov. 10, a subject in a pick-up truck cut the locks off a gate at 12010 Hedge Lane Terrace and stole a gray tandem axle trailer with Utah license plate 017971A. A Miller “Big Blue” 400 diesel welder was mounted to the trailer. The thief also took two 5,000-watt generators – one from the back of a truck and another from inside a shipping container. Other items stolen include a 250-foot set of welding leads, four C-25 Sheilding gas bottle rentals, two wire feeders with welding guns and other tools and welding supplies.
Anyone who may have seen the stolen equipment is asked to contact Johnson County detective Craig Walion at (913)715-5572.
