The Gardner Edgerton High School Blazer football team ended its season with a loss on Friday night.

Falling behind 21-0 after one quarter, the Blazers dropped a 49-22 decision in its district 6A season finale at Olathe South High School on Oct. 31.
GEHS rallied for 22 second-half points behind the rushing of senior quarterback Colton Mullin and senior running back Jadon Pearson-Bruce. But the second-half scores were too late to overcome OSHS’ first-half lead. The OSHS Falcons posted their fifth win of the season.
Despite the loss, Pearson-Bruce scored two touchdowns and rushed for 162 yards on 22 carries.
