Spring Hill High School’s freshman, JV and varsity volleyball teams landed league wins in Eudora last week.
The varsity played the best three out of five sets. After two set losses, the squad regrouped to win three in a row.
SHHS senior and outside hitter Mandi Taylor landed 13 kills, while senior middle blocker Shelby Baker landed 10 kills and snagged three blocks. Junior libero Madi Miller also turned in a polished performance.
Spring Hill will host a triangular meet on Oct. 1. Games begin at 4:30 p.m. The high school also plays host to a volleyball round-robin on Saturday, Oct. 3. Action starts at 8 a.m. at SHHS.
