Antique motorcycles will be roaring through town this afternoon as the Motorcycle Cannonball 2014 passes through.

Pat Simmons and his wife, Cris, rode through Gardner on antique motorcycles on Thursday, Sept. 11. Simmons is a member of the band, The Doobie Brothers. The final destination for the riders is Tacoma, Wash. The adventure, which tests whether antique motorcycles made in 1937 or before, began in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Sept. 6.
