Martha Loretta Smith, 72, of Gardner, Kan., passed away Dec. 2, 2013.
Loretta was the tenth of twelve children born to the late Stephen and Louise (Weaver) Smith, on June 10, 1941, in Swifton, Ark.
She graduated from Swifton High School.
Loretta’s enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and many social activities. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gardner. Loretta will be sorely missed by her family and Friends.
Her last years in Gardner were with partner Roy Silva, by whom she is survived.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Vernice Schanfish, Velma Potts, Lucille Winemiller, Marvin Smith, Ernest Smith, Helen Keeley and Gladys Smith.
Survivors include her sons, Gregg Smith and wife Teresa; Frank Bell and girlfriend Jackie Brooks; daughter Kim Fesenmeyer and husband David, all of Gardner; grandchildren: Joshua Smith, Jessica Smith, Ivy Bell, Montana Bell, Coleman Wenger and Hunter Fesenmeyer; sisters: Retha Runsick, Wanda New, Linda Black and Patricia Smith; and Brother-in-law R.W. Winemiller.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Gardner on Monday, Dec.. 9 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Memorial services will be held from 6:30p.m. to 7 p.m., also at the church.
