The Edgerton Community Museum will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the museum.
The museum will remain open on Saturday until 2 p.m.
In addition to the grand opening, there will be local dignitaries, music, refreshments, and a few surprises.
The museum building, which was donated by Donna Bratton, is located directly east of Edgerton City Hall. The building was moved from about a block away to its present location in October of 2005.
Members of the Edgerton Historical Society have been working hard the last few weeks to get the museum ready for opening and are very excited about Saturday’s ceremony. The society members would like to invite the public to come and see Edgerton’s newest treasure.
