Corey Spader, Spring Hill, signed a letter of intent to wrestle at Bethany College for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Spader comes to Bethany from Spring Hill High School where he wrestled all four years. He was a two-time state runner-up and had an overall high school record of 114-37. In addition to wrestling, Spader also played baseball for four years and football for two years.
“We are excited to welcome Corey Spader to the family at Bethany. He has been a positive influence at Spring Hill and we are glad he chose to continue wrestling with the Swedes. He brings a great personality, a very competitive attitude, and a work ethic that he will serve him nicely as he transitions to the challenges of college and collegiate wrestling,”  Bethany College Head Wrestling Coach Jacob Marrs said.
Spader is the son of Tim and Terri Spader. He has a 3.3 grade point average and plans to major in sports management.
