Announcing that Gardner has a new women’s organization to serve their church and the community.
Four women were searching for a way to belong to a group of other Catholic women so they could strengthen their faith, build friendship, offer their talents to the parish, help the Gardner/Edgerton Community and work with the Knights of Columbus. The D of I is one of the largest Catholic women’s organizations, with a membership of over 60,000 women from the United States and Canada and has continued to prosper and establish bonds among Catholic women throughout the world. This is what they were looking for!
These four women from Divine Mercy (Catholic) Parish met with Janet Huss, the State Regent for the D of I, to explore the possibility of forming a circle in their parish.  After working hard for several months, the St Faustina Circle 1439 of the D of I was chartered with 37 new members.  Judy Hadle, the new Circle Regent, and the other officers were installed to lead the women into the future.  The ladies are delighted that Deacon Dan Peterson agreed to be their Circle’s Chaplain.
Now the work of organizing a new circle begins: Judy Hadle has been very busy assigning committee chairman and committee members.  So far, this has been easy; members want to assist her wherever she needs them. This Circle meets on the 3rd Monday evening of the month in the Divine Mercy parish center, Gardner KS. New members are Welcome: The Order of the Daughters of Isabella is open to all women, age 16 and over, who are Catholics.
