Former Gardner Edgerton High School basketball standout Conner Langrehr is making his mark as a member of the Mid-America Nazarene University squad.
Langrehr just completed his junior season helping Mid-America post a 26-10 record and reach the Elite Eight in the NAIA national tournament in Kansas City.
“Conner was one of the major reasons for our return to the national tournament” said Mid-America coach Rocky Lamar. “He is excited about his upcoming senior season and has shown great leadership for the team throughout his 3 years at MNU.”
Langrehr averaged 12.8 points per game this season and earned an Honorable mention award in the Heart of America conference. In 3 seasons, Langrehr has scored 1281 points and grabbed 227 rebounds in 101 games.
Langrehr helped Mid- America to an Elite Eight appearance in the NAIA national tournament. The Pioneers knocked off No. 7 seed Cal-State –San Marcos and No. 10 seed Oklahoma Baptist before falling to second seed Lindsey Wilson of Kentucky.
Conner is the son of Jeff and Sherry Langrehr of Gardner.
