Rhonda Humble
The tragedy at Sandy Hook elementary with 26 dead is unfathomable.
As the news unfolded, I wanted to cry, to reach out and hug someone, to scream, to do something, blame someone, or hear something that would explain and fill the void and ease the pain of so much senseless suffering.
But, like so many others, I feel helpless.
With millions of words already written, and hours of broadcast and internet time provided, there are no words I can add.
But sometimes in silence we can intuit the thoughts that are too deep to wrap words around.
So I share with you my silence, and for those of you who pray, I ask you to take a moment. For those of you who do not pray, turn the page and know my prayers will be with you.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” I Corinthians 13:13
Smile at someone today.
