Johnson County 4-H members were recognized for their accomplishments at the annual Johnson County 4-H Achievement Banquet on Saturday, Nov. 3.  The semi-formal dinner and ceremony were held at the Johnson County Fairgrounds and attracted more than 150 4-H members and their families.  Seven veteran 4-H members were given the coveted 4-H Key Award.  Makaela Willis, Prairie Moon, was among the recipients.  The Kansas 4-H Key Award is a program of distinction.  Since 1952 this award has been presented to only the finest 4-H members in recognition of outstanding achievement.  It is reserved for approximately the top one percent of the total 4-H membership in Kansas.
