Court officials moved Oct. 9 to revoke bond for a Gardner man who was charged with hiring a hit man to kill his ex-wife.
According to the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office, the bond was revoked based on “numerous violations of house arrest.”
Rheuben Clifford Johnson, III, Gardner, is now in Johnson County jail.
The charges stem from a May 18 incident in Olathe.
The Olathe Police Department arrested Johnson.
Johnson’s initial bond was set at $1 million. It was later lowered to $350,000 before being revoked.
Bond conditions included GPS monitoring, no alcohol, and no contact with the alleged victim.
