Ramps and lanes will be closed on Interstate 35 between Gardner and Olathe this weekend.
Ramp closures will include:
The southbound I-35 to K-7/US-169/151st Street exit ramp will be closed for asphalt paving work beginning at 5 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18 and reopening to traffic at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Monday, Aug. 20.
Southbound I-35 to 175th Street exit ramp and eastbound 175th Street to northbound I-35 entrance ramp will be closed for concrete patching work beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 17 and reopening to all traffic at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Monday, Aug. 20.
Lane closures will include:
Northbound I-35 from Gardner Road to 159th Street reduced to one lane along with temporary ramp closures for asphalt paving work, 24/7 round the clock, beginning at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13 and reopening to all traffic at 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, Aug. 18.
Southbound I-35 from 159th Street to Gardner Road reduced to one lane for asphalt paving work between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18.  Project work is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, Aug. 18.
Project work is scheduled to be completed on Monday, Aug. 20, weather permitting.
Message boards will alert drivers to the ramp closures. No marked detours will be provided. Drivers should expect minor delays and must use alternate routes during the ramp closures.
