The meeting was preceded by a potluck.
The meeting was called to order by President Haylee Burke, and pledges were led by, Dewey Molenda and Anthony Deters. Roll call was a sign in sheet provided. There were 20 members present.

Tucker Davis reported he turned in the minutes of the last monthly meeting to the newspaper.  Anthony Deters asked families for pictures .  Lauren Molenda read the minutes from the last monthly meeting and stand approved as read.
Bert Molenda gave the Council report, and said if you were interested in applying for Mr./Miss 4-H see the April Clover Clips for details, and if you are showing livestock you must wear a Jo Co purple shirt, cost is around $6.   Bert, also, gave the Community Leader’s report, and we need to be thinking about what we are entering in the fair and reminded everyone about the banner, cutout, and float. Community service ideas were suggested for the summer months.
Linda Nellor gave everyone who participated in the t-shirt design contest a certificate and a chocolate bar.  1st  (Cole Davis), 2nd  (Shay Stamps), and 3rd place tie (Nikki Nellor and Dewey Molenda) won cash.
Most of us made posters for judging school and showed it to our club members for the program following the meeting.
Anthony Deters made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Tucker Davis seconded the motion. The next monthly meeting will be held on June 11 at 7 p.m. at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
