Alice’s Army to host fundraising bootcamp June 9
Boot camp and army go hand-in-hand, but when Alice’s Army rallies this weekend, there’s more likely to be filled with fun and laughter than drill sergeants.
Alice Kurtz, Gardner, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February. A group of
family and friends, Alice’s Army, are hosting a boot camp event to raise money June 9 to help with Alice’s fight.
Alice’s Army Bootcamp will be at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at New Life Church in Gardner.
Trainer Cory Adams of Legacy Fitness promises participants a good time and a fun workout.
“The workouts will be for all fitness levels,” Adams said.
They will be motivating, encouraging and a team workout.
No advance sign-up is required. A $10 suggested donation can be paid at the door on Saturday morning.
And they’ll help raise funds for a good cause – to help the Kurtz family fund ongoing cancer treatments.
