The Lady Blazers softball squad improved to 7-7 with a double-header sweep of Bishop Miege on April 26.
GEHS won the opener 3-1 and the nightcap 4-1 to run their win streak to six games.
“We had some incredible defense and timely hitting,” said coach Joanne Calvin. “The team is really playing well headed into post season.”
In the opener, GEHS’ Shelby Kaberline tossed a four-hitter and got top offensive support from Jackie Sylva and Ashleigh Perry.
In game two, Shelby Plank was the winning pitcher and got clutch hitting from Alexis Pacheco and Britnee Willard.
