Hosting Ottawa on April 17, the Lady Blazer soccer squad posted wins in  both JV and varsity competition.
On the varsity side, Gardner Edgerton High School got on the board early on an unassisted goal by junior Peka Ploetz 15 minutes into the first half.
After an Ottawa goal, GEHS answered with a goal by senior Guro Midmageli just before halftime. The assist came from senior Hunter Coleman.
Up 2-1, GEHS got an early second-half goal from Molly Porter and a second goal from Midmageli.
Scoring came to a close on a third Midmageli goal. GEHS posted a 5-1 win.
It was the same winning story in the JV game as GEHS posted a 4-0 win.
Sophomore Kerrigan Kennedy scored two goals. Sophomore Shelby Burke had a goal as did Marissa Ward. Freshman goalie Taylor Rayburn posted her second shutout.
