Congressman Kevin Yoder, R-Kan., will host a job fair April 10 at the Olathe Great Mall. Job seekers and employers are encouraged to attend.
“I’m pleased to help provide an opportunity for local business owners and those wanting to join the workforce to meet together in one venue,” Yoder said. “We saw positive private sector job growth last month, but we know there is still more we can do to get Kansans gainfully employed.”
Between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. the event will be devoted specifically to aid job-seeking veterans. Doors open to the general public at 10 a.m. Job seekers should dress for success and bring plenty of resumes.
There is no need to register for the free event, which is sponsored in conjunction with Workforce Partnership.
For the general public, the jobs fair and resource expo runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 10 near Burlington Coat Factory at the Great Mall.
