Mary Maxine Donham, 89, of Gardner, Kan., passed away March 26, 2012 at Olathe Medical Center.
Maxine was born Jan. 23, 1923 to Oscar and Zora McCulley. She was a life-long Johnson County area resident. She was a graduate of Olathe High School.
Maxine married Harry Raymond Donham and they lived in rural Olathe.
She was involved as a 4-H Leader and enjoyed participating in the De Soto Pioneer Riders, and a square dance group. Maxine lived in Gardner for the last 20 years. She loved spending time with her family. Maxine will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, siblings Charles McCulley, Virginia Boehm and Ruth Bacon.
Maxine is survived by her son Raymond “Steve” Donham and wife Carolyn of Paola, Kan.; daughter Mary Jeanette Donham of Overland Park, Kan.; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., March 29, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Overland Park, Kan. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., March 29, 2012 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS, (913) 856-7111, before the graveside service.
