Using a balanced scoring attack, the Spring Hill Bronco football squad posted an impressive 59-6 win versus Osawatomie in the District 4A finale on Oct. 27.
Jeff Lovetinsky rushed for three touchdowns and tossed another as Spring Hill capped its season in style.
Osawatomie got its only points early on a first-quarter 64-yard scoring strike from Mike Chisholm to Brandon Oakes. From there it was all Spring Hill as the Broncos coasted to victory.
First-quarter touchdowns came on a one-yard Mike Epp run and 18-yard run by Lovetinsky. Eric Kahn added two successful extra-point kicks.
Second quarter scores came on an 11-yard run by McDade and another 41-yard run by Lovetinsky.
Up 28-6, Spring Hill unloaded for 24 third-quarter points.
Coby Morris scored on a 30-yard run, Kahn kicked a 23-yard field goal, Schylar Duncan on a five-yard run, and Sam Hoffman hauled in a 42-yard pass from Lovetinsky.
In the fourth quarter, Lovetinsky added a two-yard touchdown run.
