Scoring three second-half goals, the Spring Hill High School varsity soccer squad brought back a 3-0 win from Eudora, Sept. 5.
After a scoreless first half, Spring Hill got things going. Fifteen minutes into the half, Joey Vecchione crossed a ball that Taylor Hartsock headed into the goal. Five minutes later, Niles Kahn converted a penalty kick to put Spring Hill up 2-0.
With five minutes left in the game, Kahn passed the ball to Lucas Mapes who scored the third and final goal.
Goalkeeper Miles Updike got his first shutout of the year.
