Sealed bids for the 183RD Street Improvements (Moonlight Rd to Center St) Project, consisting of ½ mile of pavement demolition/tillage with 7” asphalt reconstruction and ½ mile of 2” asphalt overlay along with storm sewer, grading, seed/sod and misc. appurtenant items for the base bid; with alternate bids consisting of ½ mile of sidewalk along with sidewalk ramps and misc. appurtenant items, will be accepted by the City of Gardner, Kansas, at the Public Works Department, Gardner City Hall, 120 E. Main Street, Gardner, Kansas, 66030, until 10:00 A.M. (local time) on July 20, 2011, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Gardner City Hall. Any bid received after the designated closing time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Note: Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to this project.
