The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office will set up a DUI checkpoint in western Johnson County in the early morning hours of May 14.
The sobriety checkpoint is intended to identify intoxicated drivers. Drivers suspected of being intoxicated will be given brief sobriety tests and those drivers who are confirmed to be impaired will be arrested.
Efforts will be made not to severely interrupt traffic flow. Citizen’s patience and cooperation will assist with this important safety effort.
