Police have identified the man arrested after a seven-hour stand-off in Gardner on April 7.

$100,000 bond.
Lane was charged April 8 in Johnson County District Court with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery/intentional harm.
Gardner Police responded to a call in the 100 block of N. Cedar Street following a domestic disturbance about 1:30 p.m.
A woman was transported from the residence by ambulance with minor injuries and Lane refused to come out of the duplex.
The woman’s name has not yet been released.
Police tried to negotiate with the man for nearly seven hours but could not make contact with him.
After using a robot, camera, pepper spray and thermal imagine equipment, police found Lane hiding in the attic of the duplex.
He was taken into custody about 8:20 p.m. and was described as being “uncooperative”.
Assisting Gardner police in the stand-off were Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies, SWAT team, and Johnson County Fire District No. 1.
