The Gardner Edgerton High School freshmen boys basketball team dropped a pair of hard-fought losses to St. Thomas Aquinas and Blue Valley Northwest last week.
Jared Hobby scored seven points and Brett Wolford, six points in a 42-26 loss to STA. Will Cook and Zach Scroggin added four points.
Versus Northwest, Jan. 20, GEHS lost a 38-29 decision despite 10 points from Hobby. Cook added five and Jaylon Radel, four points.
“We are showing improvement but still have a ways to go,” said Coach Ty Pfannenstiel. “Our intensity has been much better.”
