A street in Overland Park is closed this afternoon as Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies investigate an officer-involved shooting there.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant in the 11400 block of west 106th Street in Overland Park.
Chad Michael Osborn, a white, 220-pound, 6-foot-3-inch tall man, fled the scene in a 2000 Green Chrysler LHS four-door car with Missouri plate YC1-U4L.
Deputies fired at Osborn after he attempted to strike officers with his vehicle. Deputies believe Osborn and a female passenger may have been shot in the incident.
Deputies have closed 106th Street between 105th Terrace and Flint until the investigation is complete.
