ORDINANCE NO. 894
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING ANNEXATION FOR SPECIFIC LAND TO THE CITY OF EDGERTON, KANSAS, PURSUANT TO  K.S.A. 12-520(a)
WHEREAS, the owner of the land described herein below desires to annex said land into the City of Edgerton so that operation of its business may continue; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property described herein below has filed a Consent for Annexation with the City Clerk as provided by Exhibit A;
WHEREAS, the land adjoins the existing jurisdiction of the City of Edgerton; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF EDGERTON, KANSAS:
Section One. That the property described below is hereby annexed to become part of the incorporated boundaries of the City of Edgerton, Kansas, pursuant K.S.A. 12-520(a):
Beginning at a point 380.00 feet East of the Northwest (NW) corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE1/4) of Section 3, Township 15 South, Range 22 East, Johnson County, Kansas, said point being on the North line of said Quarter Section; South 600.00 feet and parallel to the West line of said Quarter Section; thence East 388.40 feet and parallel to the North line of said Quarter Section; thence North 600.00 feet and parallel to the West line of said Quarter Section to a point on the North line of said Quarter Section; thence West 388.40 feet and along the North line of said Quarter Section to the point of beginning, containing 5.35 acres, more or less, all being a part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW1/4NE1/4) of Section 3, Township 15 South, Range 22 East, Johnson County, Kansas.

Beginning at a point 600.00 feet South and 380.00 feet East of the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 15 South, Range 22 East, Johnson County, Kansas; thence South 325.00 feet and parallel to the West line of said Quarter Section; thence East 388.40 feet and parallel to the North line of said Quarter Section; thence North 325.00 feet and parallel to the West line of said Quarter Section; thence West 388.40 feet and parallel to the North line of said Quarter Section to the point of beginning, all being a part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 15 South, Range 22 East, Johnson County, Kansas.
AND
Beginning at a point 30.0 feet East of the Northwest Corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 15 South, Range 22 East, Johnson County, Kansas, said point being on the North line of said Quarter Section; thence East 350.00 feet and along the North line of said Quarter Section; thence South 925.00 feet and parallel to the West Line of said Quarter Section; thence Northwesterly 370.98 feet; thence North 802.00 feet and parallel to the West Line of said Quarter Section to the point of beginning, all begin a part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 15 South, Range 22 East, Johnson County, Kansas.
Section Two.  That a map of the properties described in the legal descriptions above shall be attached hereto as Exhibit B.
Section Three. That pursuant to K.S.A. 12-522, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to file a Certified Copy of this Ordinance with the Clerk of Johnson County, the Register of Deeds of Johnson County, and the Johnson County Election Commissioner.
Section Four. This Ordinance shall take effect and be enforced from and after its publication once in the official City newspaper.
