Members were disappointed in the number of buyers who turned out to the fairgrounds for the meet, but hope to expand the event to draw bigger crowds in the future. Staff photos by Danedri Thompson

Online sales have changed the way car enthusiasts purchase and part-out old cars, but there are still old-schoolers who prefer the socialization and the person-to-person comraderie of a swap meet. The Old 56 Highway Car Club in Gardner also sponsors a swap meet in the spring and a car show, also in the spring. Staff photos by Danedri Thompson
