Williams was stabbed on Interstate 35 on Sept. 7. The incident and resulting investigation shut down traffic on the highway for more than five hours Tuesday morning.
Kansas Highway Patrol deputy reported a white vehicle with Texas plates traveling northbound on I-35 moving erratically through traffic at about 7 a.m. on Sept. 7. Williams – clearly injured – exited the vehicle.  He was taken to Olathe Medical Center where he eventually died of his injuries.
KHP officials shut down the highway just north of the Old U.S. Highway 56 exit as they investigated what appeared to be a stabbing. They initially took three people into custody.
Blacklock was charged with first degree murder in Johnson County District Court and is currently being held at New Century Jail with bond set at $2 million.
