Lillian “Mimi” Lust
Lillian “Mimi” Lust, 82, of Higginsville, Mo., formerly of Gardner, Kan., died Aug. 19, 2010, at her home.
Lillian was born April 22, 1928, in Kansas City, Mo., to Roland and Maude (Chipps) Edwards.
She married William Lust in November 1947. He preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1969.
Lillian was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and reading, until her eyesight deteriorated.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel; a daughter, Virginia; a brother, Gary Edwards; a sister, Faye Edwards; and a great-grandson, Alexzander O’Bryan.
She is survived by a daughter, April Waller and her husband Gary of the home; four grandchildren – Eric Lust, Bill (Andrea) O’Bryan, Krystal (Chris) Coon, and Keriana (Josh) Correll; and 11 great grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary preceded the Mass of Christian Burial on Aug. 23 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Kenneth Criqui.
Honorary Casket Bearers were Eric Lust, Bill O’Bryan, Chris Coon, Josh Correll, Austin O’Bryan and Derik Coon.
