Preparing for next season, the Spring Hill Bronco freshmen recently brought back a third-place finish at the Sunflower State Games in Topeka.

Spring Hill was 3-1 in pool play and earned a number one ranking for bracket play.

In bracket play, Spring Hill lost to the Osage County Stars in semi-final play by a score of 60-52. The Broncos defeated the Topeka All-City Thunder 33-28 to earn the bronze award.

In the third-place game, Spring Hill took a 14-9 halftime lead and held on for a five-point win.

Kainon Clark led the way with 13 points and seven boards. Trevor Cluck added nine points and Michael Londene contributed five points and four boards. Riley Thomas and Austin Jager collected four steals.
