Ward is Kansas Girls Coach of Year

Gardner Edgerton High School track coach Larry Ward was selected Girls Coach of the Year by the Kansas Coaches Association.

Ward’s team won the 5A girls track title by a 40-point margin versus runner-up Shawnee Heights of Topeka.

The Kansas Coaches Association recognizes outstanding work done by track and field coaches.
