Linda is the new director of the Spring Hill Multi-Service Center. She had previously worked with the Gardner Multi-Service Center for the past five and a half years and prior to that spent 15 years with Catholic Charities in Olathe. Through Catholic Charities she helped assist the outlying multi-service centers in De Soto, Gardner and Spring Hill.
Linda has resided in Spring Hill for the past two years.
She has just become the owner of a new Boxer puppy named Bella, and also has a 7-year-old mixed breed named Gracie.
Linda is the proud mom of three grown children: Justin, Laura and Andrew. The apples of her eye, though, are her grandchildren: Grand, age two; Addie, 18 months; and Asher, three months old.
Favorite movie of all time: “An Affair to Remember,” both the old version and the remake.
Favorite music: “Old movie soundtracks — well, old to all you young folks, but not so old for me!”
Dream job: “I already have my dream job. I consider myself very lucky to work with some great people and to be able to help families that are struggling. I have a job that doesn’t just earn a paycheck but it gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the world, one little piece at a time.”
Motto you live you life by: “I think my mottos to live by are ‘Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.’ For me that means that sometimes I need to step back and let someone else take over. My other motto is ‘Treat others they way you want to be treated.’ I may not always live by these mottos but I try my best, forgive myself when I don’t, and try to do better next time.”
