ANSWER: According to Gardner Mayor Dave Drovetta, the city will soon interview six candidates for the position of city clerk. The successful candidate will replace former City Clerk Teresa Anderson, who left her position to go to work for Johnson County last month. Drovetta says he hopes to have the next city clerk hired this month so he or she can begin working by the date of the first Gardner City Council meeting in August.
