Gardner Edgerton High School’s Justice Berry made the most of his final high school football game, scoring two touchdowns to lead the Kansas All-Stars to a 26-23 win versus Missouri at Shawnee Mission North District Stadium.
Missouri took a quick 14-0 lead only to see Kansas finish the first half with 19 consecutive points.
Kansas’ first score came on a 28-yard run by Lawrence Free-State’s Camren Torneden with 7:66 left in the first half.
Blue Valley quarterback Anthony Abenoja then connected with Berry on a 41-yard touchdown strike to give Kansas its next score.
Joining Berry in the game were Blazer linemen Cameron McLain and linebacker Jeremy McLennan.
