Willis, Bybee pace Broncos at 4A CC meet

Makaela Willis and Derek Bybee paced the Spring Hill cross country effort at a 4A regional in Wyandotte County Park, Oct. 23.
Willis just missed qualifying for state with a personal best 4k time of 16:47 – good enough for 18th place. Bybee claimed 26th in a 5k time of 18:29.
“Overall, I was real pleased with our performances,” said Coach Rick O’Neil. “The kids kept improving and worked hard every day in practice. It’s been a good year.”
