The Whistle Stop Restaurant re opened for business Aug. 27 under the ownership of Richard and Sylvia Moss. Located at 324 east Nelson, the restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Richard has been in the food service business for over 35 years.
Dinner is served from 4 p.m to close with daily specials and kids meals available and soft serve ice cream is now available. Pizza will be on the menu soon.
A grand opening is planned for Sept. 22, 4 p.m-7 pm . The band double Vision will be performing. The band is from North Kansas City and plays country, gospel, western and Rock ‘n roll.
Great to hear that a third business venture has opened on that block of Nelson Street in recent months. I encourage Edgerton residents and visitors to support each enterprise with regular patronage to keep them viable. 155-year old Edgerton lives on with global routes and local roots!
