Walking trail opens at Edgerton Elementary

After five years of fundraising, Edgerton Elementary students and staff can take a relaxing walk around the school’s new walking trail.

The school used funds from its Major Saver Card fundraisers to create the Edgerton Elementary Walking Trail, which opened last week.

Students and staff celebrated its completion during a fun run and community barbeque on April 28. As part of the event, every EE student imprinted a hand print and their initials on the trail. The 1/8-mile track will be used by walking club members, recess and will be available for community use when school is not in session.
