Tony Walker rushed for four touchdowns leading the Pioneer Ridge Middle School eighth-grade varsity to a 52-6 home win versus Ottawa, Sept. 13.
Pioneer, 1-2, jumped to a 30-6 first-quarter lead and went up 38-6 by halftime. The Jags tacked on 14 second-half points.
Andrew Halverson also had a big night. He ran for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
Providing up front blocking were Danny Beyer, Hunter Mulford, Ashton Guthrie, Donovan Kelly, Lucas Asay, and Tristen Cody.
“We played well but just need to keep working hard to improve and get better,” said coach Kevin Collins.
