Victor Ivan Peck, Jr.

Victor Ivan Peck, Jr. of Gardner, Kansas passed away June 2, 2014 at Olathe Medical Center.

Victor was born June 26, 1964 in Savannah, Georgia. He was raised by his parents Victor Ivan and Pauline Edna (Guess) Peck in Oklahoma.

Victor served in the U. S. Army and then moved to Gardner in 2002. He received a BS from Ottawa University.

Victor was joined in marriage to Dennis Robert O’Brien on June 16, 2012 in Flushing, New York.

He was employed by CenturyLink in Gardner as a Process Manager for approximately 20 years. Victor was a member of the Gardner American Legion. He loved to socialize and travel.

Victor served on the Gardner Festival of the Trails’ Board and was in charge of the children’s areas. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve Peck.

Victor is survived by his spouse, Dennis O’Brien; siblings: Lisa Allen, of Wichita, Kansas; Randy Peck, of Wichita; Sondra Holman, of Wellston, Oklahoma; Keith Trolinger, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brenda Harkins, of Oklahoma City; Nathan Trolinger, of Macomb, Oklahoma; Alech Trolinger, of Mt. Olive, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., June 7, 2014 at Bruce Funeral Home (913)856-7111 with military honors following the visitation. There will be a sharing of memories following the military honors. A celebration of life will follow the visitation starting at 5 p.m. at the Tumbleweed Saloon, Grill and Bar, 615 E Main, Gardner, KS.
