Veronica “Ronnie” Dorothy Kozelnik, 93, of Gardner, Kan. passed away March 26, 2014 at Meadowbrook Rehab Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., March 31, 2014 at Bruce Funeral Home (913)856-7111. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service with inurnment at a later date at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Rahway, N.J. Ronnie was born Dec. 21, 1920 in Elizabeth, N.J. to John and Elizabeth (Ulakie) Besermin. She married John Joseph Kozelnik, who preceded her in death. Ronnie later married James Batey Graves, who also preceded her.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed plastic canvas needlepoint handwork. Ronnie will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, siblings: Anne Kazanecki, Elizabeth Kosbucki, Steve Besermin, Margie Lasek and Mary Besermin.

Ronnie is survived by her daughter, Carol Danner and former son-in-law, Bill Danner, of Edgerton, Kan.; son, John and wife Judy Kozelnik, of Henderson, Nev.; sister, Eleanore Dzejak, of Rahway, N.J.; grandchildren: Cari Fairchild, of Illinois; Traci Bernadt and husband Jon, of Kansas; Bryan Danner and wife Callie, of Kansas; Stephanie Kozelnik, of Nevada; and Anthony Kozelnik, of Nevada and nine great-grandchildren.
